Portfolio Growth Officer

Manage and grow a portfolio of inactive and underutilised merchant accounts to drive revenue. Work within the portfolio/merchant growth function to reactivate merchants and improve utilisation and repayment outcomes.

What you'll do

• Own assigned dormant, zero-utilised and underutilised merchant relationships
• Diagnose inactivity and design reactivation plans for merchants
• Conduct targeted field visits to verify businesses and rebuild relationships
• Coordinate with Retention, Operations, Credit and Risk to remove blockers
• Manage early repayments, escalate delinquency and maintain portfolio records

• Bachelor's degree or HND in related discipline
• At least 3 years experience in relevant financial or relationship roles
• Understanding of merchant businesses and repayment management
• Strong communication, negotiation and field-execution skills
• Ability to use Excel, CRM systems and performance trackers
